Albus walked back into the Common Room and went into the boys’ dormitories. He said ‘good night’ to all of the boys and closed his canopy. He soon fell asleep with his wand giving off a warm glow.
The next day was a Saturday. Albus woke up and got ready, then, he went down to breakfast.
Albus soon got lost on the way to the Great Hall. He saw Victoire’s blonde hair flying past a corner.
“Victoire, Victoire! Wait up!” called Albus.
“Oh! ‘Ello Albus! ‘Ow did you sleep?” asked Victoire, waving off her friends.
“Fine, thanks,” said Albus.
“Zat eez good,” said Victoire.
“You’re a prefect, right?” asked Albus.
“Yes, zat eez correct,” said Victoire flipping her hair over her shoulder.
“Do you mind showing me the way to the Great Hall?” asked Albus.
“Not at all, ma cousine!” said Victoire excitedly.
And so Victoire showed Albus the way to the Great Hall.
Albus walked into the Great Hall and went to the Gryffindor table. He heard some kids talking.
“… I just cannot believe Irissedda Nott got into Gryffindor,” said one girl.
“Oh, I know! I mean, she is from an all-Slytherin family. I wonder what her family will do to her!” said another girl giggling.
Albus eyed them and turned right around and walked out of the Great Hall.
Victoire noticed this though and rushed over to him.
“Finished with breakfast already, Albus? Are you alright?”
“Yes, quite alright, thanks,” said Albus briskly.
Victoire walked over to her friends and continued eating. Albus walked out and remembered something.
He walked back to Victoire.
“Oui, Albus?” said Victoire.
“Where’s the library?” asked Albus.
“Ah. Zee library eez down zee ‘all and on zee third floor,” said Victoire.
